The new touchscreen phone from HTC is some competition with the iPhone touchscreen. I'll examine why I like the "Touch" as and what kind of features you can expect your money.

Some time ago I asked myself what my favorite cell phone, I gotta think because mine was a little overwhelmed and I knew there was more features now available in cell phones modern. Newer digital technology has led to the convergence of devices into one handheld gadget that can be your personal digital assistant (PDA) your portable digital music or MP3 player, cell phone, and even your personal video player. I'm thinking back to my criteria Parents for buying a mobile phone a few years ago, which was of course updated over time now that the new technologies are available today:

Cell Phone Buying Check List

  • Never pay too much (to buy or Bleeding Edge brand new) – collage $ 250 or less.
  • Never underpay (free or buy at 100 million phones) quality may be less expensive.
  • Make sure it has the features you want for the next 2 years. This is usually include:

    1. Camera quality
    2. Bluetooth (stereo if you use as mp3 player)
    3. Removable microSD card slot
    4. Web and WiFi access
    5. Phone as modem
    6. Appropriately sized screen for your type of use
  • Watch for the positive comments on several sites

So – he started doing some research. I looked for hours PDA phones, flip phones walkie-talkie, sliders, and more … and "Touch" phone cellular "HTC" is one that caught my attention. It fits my checklist buying perfectly, it's getting great reviews across the web, it is easy to organize and not a lot of buttons external to fool with both.

Here are the finer points of this phone:

Technology TouchFlo: In layman terms "it works like an iPhone" (half price). You can use a stylus, but your fingers are equally good because you can use it as an iPhone or iTouch.

Windows Mobile 6: You can sync your Outlook, your calendar and contacts with your PC using "ActiveSync" software.

2 megapixel camera: Take better quality photos up 1200×800 pixels in size – good enough to print or use for wallpaper.

Slot MicroSD memory card: take up to 4GB microSD cards which means you can store up to 450 + songs in your cell phone.

Stereo Bluetooth: using your phone as a MP3 player of high quality with integrated stereo Bluetooth.

Phone as a modem: Browsing the Web on your laptop via the phone.

4 hours of talk: Pretty darn good for a touch phone.

Rubberized Case: Palm and Easy to hold, comfortable for long periods of time.

This phone is a breakthrough in technology at an affordable price. You can buy one with a contract under $ 250, and the phone is called the "touch" because of its touch screen (like the iPhone and iTouch). With Windows Mobile 6 phone that syncs easily with your Windows based Outlook e-mail and contacts. The stereo Bluetooth capabilities give you the ability not only to use this phone as a mp3 player quality, but it also has the abiltiy to "listen" to music from your phone and Internet radio to your stereo headset. The screen is like a video iPod, coupled withe the SD memory card and the ability to use removable media to 4 GB – you can easily watch videos on mobile like, without the need for additional equipment. Check your e-mail on the road, use the Web right now, this gap was even able to connect via wireless hot-spots!

You can use this phone on Sprint, Alltel, Verizon, AT & T (Cingular) – so almost all the major carriers have now. You can even find it on ebay – you might even get an agreement. The advantage Buying on eBay is that if you pay the price then you will not have to buy a contract. But if you get it from one of the operators (Sprint etc.) you will get it cheaper (in general) – but must Sign in probably a 2 year contract. You might get lucky and get a kind Delivery by post as well.

I think that more and more mobile phones new work as an integrated as the contact (telephone cellular, PDA, MP3 player, and Web site on the go) – and prices are just to get better every day. If you are looking for a new phone or replacement – the HTC Touch is a perfect choice!
