Here are a few quick World of Warcraft Auction House (AH) tips to remember:

1. Know your market. Use Auctioneer to learn what things for sale. Scan frequently. Even if I use the tool, I always double check to make sure I'm not buying until believe that the auctioneer is a contract, because some bozo selling the item at a super-high prices. Auctioneer can be fooled by enough players over-pricing of an item, I am therefore very cautious in relying on the auctioneer to "buy low, sell high." Make sure the "Vu the number of X valued Times auctioneer is in excess of 50 before they can feel confident that the prices displayed are correct.

2. Timing is everything. Pay attention to things on your server, as when the raids started. There will be times when, for example, consumers who are generally good supply can not be found on the AH, and players need to raid (and pay more). Your items at the right time can bring a higher price.

3. Do not sell on weekends. In World of Warcraft, the market is flooded at the weekend, and prices fall.
You'll get a better price by selling your items during week. (Conversely, weekends are a good time to buy items to resell later!)

4. Buy only what you need. If you go, Try to avoid buying the best weapon upgrades and armor of the AH every time you ding. In two more levels you will receive rewards that are better than you can buy … you basically wasted your money, unless there is dramatic update available.

5. Avoid displaying odd batteries. Either sell in stacks of max size, or group them in sizes that are frequently used. So, announces Arctic fur in piles of 8 instead of 20 is likely to improve your sales.

6. Avoid the neutral AH. How realms of World of Warcraft are installed, the neutral AH fees are terrible, the selection is terrible, prices are terrible. Most people use it as a way to move items from one faction to another (they have a toon Horde and Alliance toon, and want to send something to each other … Then they list their other toon to buy).
