Why London is an Exciting Place to Work

London is definitely the centre for business, innovation, entertainment and culture in England. Millions of people from Oxford to Essex commute into London every single day. For many, they have no choice, many business only have an office in London and there are some industries that can only operate out of the capital. I used to work in London and a lot people asked me if I liked it, this was often a difficult question to answer because life and work in the city presents such a paradoxical experience.

On one hand, working in serviced offices Soho was very fast paced and exciting, I worked for a marketing company which was challenging and very much synchronous with the heartbeat of the city. The sheer amount of people, and the fact there there was always something going on made it a real experience and something motivated me about it, the feeling that I was part of a bigger picture perhaps.

Of course you could also see these as negative aspects, some people hate the crowds, noise and smoke that comes with London. For me the worst part about getting to my serviced offices space when I first woke up was the commute, and many people feel like this, I lived about 20 miles west of London in Reading and I used to get up early and go to bed late, this makes for a very day and means work is in effect, your life.

There are people that see this as a benefit however, some love nothing more than getting their laptop out and getting a coffee. There are other reasons that some people enjoy the train journey, some see it as an opportunity to relax and gather their thoughts for the day ahead. Overall working in serviced offices Victoria was a thrilling, fast paced but very time consuming experience.
